Design in practice, heard by others

“Working with Tetiana has been very expansive, especially after getting to know her in real life. She is incredibly knowledgeable in accessibility and analytics, has a good eye for detail and is very sharp when it comes to technical implementations.”

Ngan-Thi Dang

Senior UX Designer, Elsevier

“Tetiana joined the team with very strong UX skills/knowledge of UX best practices in combination with a can-do attitude to learn new domain knowledge. This combination of seniority and agility is a great strength and helped our team to quickly release new research, experiments and general improvements.”

Niels van Dantzig

Senior Product Manager, Elsevier

"Tetiana's communication skills are amazing, making it really easy to iterate over the designs. However, I was most surprised by her ability to capture the essence and idea of what the business side was asking for with just a brief description of the concept. She was capable of bringing creative and effective designs for complex UIs."

Mario Beltran

Lead Front-end Engineer, Whalar

“Tetiana demonstrated great ownership and accountability for the product design work created. She displayed ability to own the product design process from initial requirements to an end customer facing solution. She well engaged with stakeholders as well as doing research to meet all the business and user needs.”

Peter Cuchalev

Head of Design, Road

"Tetiana is encouraging, supportive, honest, knowledgeable, critical, open-minded, and has an impeccable will to ensure high-quality design with excellent attention to detail. She can handle everything, from design systems to ambiguous, complex challenges, and come up with intuitive, user-friendly solutions."

Jasmina Messaoud

Senior Product Designer, Deel

“Tetiana is an incredibly talented and dedicated Product Designer. Her design skills are top-notch, and she is able to create user-friendly and visually appealing products that truly add value to the user experience.

In addition to her technical skills, Tetiana is a team player and a pleasure to work with. She is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that our products are of the highest quality.”

Common Questions

Quick answers about my design process and working style

What does my design process look like?

My process adapts based on product stage and project constraints. Early-stage products need more discovery and validation, while mature products focus on data-driven optimization. I follow a user-centered approach: discovery, ideation, prototyping, and testing. I validate designs with users and collaborate closely with engineering throughout. The process is flexible, but I always prioritize user needs and business goals.

What types of products do I have an experience with?

I've spent 7 of my 9 years designing B2B SaaS platforms, particularly in innovation and ecotech. Also, my passion is designing for travel and fintech. I've designed complex data visualization tools, user onboarding flows, and admin dashboards. I'm also experienced with consumer mobile apps and B2C platforms. I enjoy tackling complex enterprise software challenges where user research and iterative design make a big impact.

What kind of team environment do I thrive in?

I thrive in dynamic, collaborative teams where I can own the design process and be part of product decisions. I work closely with PMs to scope projects and identify user needs, and prefer ongoing conversations with developers to ensure smooth handoffs and maintain design quality. I'm energized by fast-paced environments where I can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining quality standards. While I enjoy collaborating with other designers, I'm equally effective as a solo designer driving the entire design process.

What type of role do I prefer - IC or management?

I'm open to both individual contributor and management opportunities, depending on the team's needs. I've been mentoring designers and leading design initiatives in my current role, and I enjoy helping others grow while driving design strategy. If the right management opportunity came along with a team that needs leadership and process development, I'd be excited about that challenge. I also love hands-on design work, so I'd want to maintain some IC responsibilities even in a management role.

What is my availability and work preference?

I'm available to start in short notice. I prefer remote work arrangements but am open to hybrid options. I've worked successfully in distributed teams and value both focused remote work time and in-person collaboration opportunities. I'm flexible based on what works best for the team and role.
